From the Challenges to the Results...
First Federal Savings Bank has served the greater Evansville, Indiana, area for
over 100 years. When it came time for a new corporate headquarters, they were
looking to create a building that showcased their pride in the community, its
customers and employees. Furnishing considerations were based on beauty,
functionality and value.
"We chose National Office Furniture because its product lines fit perfectly
into the operations and administrative areas of our building," states Mike
Head, President and CEO. "This building makes an important statement about who
we are."
The scope included 18 private offices, main lobby, reception area, two lounge
areas, teller seating and the boardroom.
The interior design team specified a mix of National products including desks
and seating in traditional and transitional styling where handsome veneer was
chosen for some offices, while laminate was the perfect choice for more task
intensive areas. Additionally, a National 16’ conference table in lustrous
cherry veneer brought elegance to the board room.
"The furniture captures the feeling we were trying to create with the
building materials. It really supports the architectural statement... the
furniture is a perfect fit for the building," says Mike Shoulders, President
and CEO, VPS Architecture, Inc.

Medalist, Timberlane
and Monterrey lounge
seating.
