Custody (COC) certificate. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an
international organization which promotes the long-term stewardship of the
world's forests. The organization has developed international standards for
responsible forest management. To ensure that these standards are adhered to,
the organization accredits independent third party organizations who can certify forest
managers and forest product producers that meet the FSC® standards. By giving
customers the option of FSC®-Certified wood, we offer the assurance of products
that are not only economically viable but are also environmentally responsible
and socially beneficial.
