ISO 14001 is a standard for environmental management systems that is applicable
to any business, regardless of size, location or revenue. The standard exists to
help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment.
It was developed by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and is
similar to ISO 9001 in structure.
National Office Furniture's manufacturing facilities are registered to the
ISO 14001:2004 standard for the performance of our Environmental Management Systems.
Our facilities fully comply with all federal/state/local environmental regulatory
requirements, and our third-party registrar is QMI SAI Global. The Environmental
Management System in place at our facilities enables us to identify and control
the environmental impact of our operations, continually improve our company's
environmental performance and systematically set environmental objectives and
demonstrate their achievement.
