The Ignite Professional Studies program was introduced by Bentonville Schools to provide students with real, relevant learning experiences.

In collaboration with regional businesses, non-profits, and industry professionals, Ignite is dedicated to preparing students for opportunities in important growth sectors of their community, and beyond. With a long-term goal of stimulating economic growth in Northwest Arkansas through talent retention, the program offers learning opportunities in eight career strands: Construction Management, Culinary Arts, Digital Design and Photography, Education Innovation, Global Business, Health Sciences, Technology, and Video Production.

Hight Jackson Associates and Innerplan Office Interiors designed the facility to emulate an office rather than a conventional school, giving the students a more realistic, professional experience.

With a mission of engaging, equipping, and empowering future professionals, Ignite offers a broad range of courses that incorporate STEM activities, business skills, professional etiquette, and financial aptitude. They are preparing students for ultimate success in today’s workforce, whether in a professional skilled trade, startup, or Fortune 500 company. Ignite is committed to changing the conversation about how to prepare students for ultimate success.

The Ignite Center for Advanced Professional Studies is a 6,000 square foot facility that provides a centralized space for students to meet. Hight Jackson Associates and Innerplan Office Interiors designed the facility to emulate an office rather than a conventional school, giving the students a more realistic, professional experience. They not only learn a profession, but they also gain valuable real-life skills and practice the entrepreneurial habits that are necessary for careers in an innovation-based economy. The facility includes shared amenities such as a collaboration space, breakout spaces, and a presentation room.
